Life as a decal salesman can be perilous at times. You never know what is going to happen. Getting out of my truck yesterday morning I realized that my brand new Droid X phone was not in its holster. Crash!!! I quickly realized that my phone had hit the pavement pretty hard. I had left it on the side of my front seat, and when I swiveled to get out of the truck, my legs sent the phone flying. I picked it up to discover that the screen had shattered into 100′s of pieces. To my surprise, the adhesive backed screen protector had stopped the pieces from going all over the place. Even more amazingly, my touch screen phone still worked. It’s a good thing that I had insurance.
The above story is absolutely true, but it is also a good lead in to decal adhesives. Did you know that not all decals have the same adhesive. Some decals have a permanent glue, and some stickers have an adhesive that lets you reposition your graphics. There are also decals that come with a removable adhesive. This allows for fairly easy removal of your graphics, even if they have been on for several years. I’ll bet you never even thought about the adhesives, even though it is a vital component to consider, when you are ordering decals.
